Luxury Housing Community Enhanced with Modernized Touches

The Challenge

Castle Group, a property management company, needed the decades-old signs and visual graphics at their Venetian Isles property updated with a modern look to appeal to younger generations and stand out in the market.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS® worked with the homeowner’s association (HOA) board and the management company, presenting both traditional and contemporary designs. While natural stone has an elegant and timeless look, the hot and humid Florida climate causes damage to natural stone. The team researched different materials, composite substrates, and 4K-printed vinyl applications to see if they could provide the visual impression and lasting quality of stone and marble, but at an affordable cost.

Once the new brand look was solidified, full-scale replicas of the proposed new monument signs were created for the HOA, board members and existing residents to review. FASTSIGNS then managed the permitting, code compliance and zoning process with the county.

Near the main road leading to the property, the large monument signs were updated with the new finishes, transforming them to look more modern and luxurious. Water fountain feature walls that line the iron fence were also updated with the look of natural stone and marble, along with the Venetian Isles gold “V”. The security gatehouse tower columns were also covered with the look of natural stone and marble. Electrical boxes were wrapped with printed green vinyl to blend in with the surrounding natural greenery and refreshed exterior directional and parking signs help guide visitors and residents.

The Result

The property was visually transformed, appearing to have new physical signs and graphics. By applying unique finishes to existing structures, FASTSIGNS was able to update the look of the entire property quickly and affordably.
