A Modern Take on Engaging Employees and Empowering Culture Through Design

The Challenge

Overture wanted to fully brand their new and larger corporate office space. A modern, employee-centric company that believes in an engaged and empowered culture, they needed to convey this philosophy and aesthetic through design elements while communicating their brand message to new and existing staff.

The Solution

FASTSIGNS® created a comprehensive solution for the new office space by incorporating a variety of applications. A floor-to-ceiling wall graphic in the conference room was installed along with a back-lit acrylic reception wall sign with the company name. Dimensional cut acrylic letters reading, “Overture Core Values,” and a company logo provided additional focal points. Company values were highlighted with engaging fonts in various circles, some on dimensional wall pieces with graphics that provided texture and visual interest.

Throughout the space, playful and fun vinyl wall applications were added that read “Creative Control Freaks (and web geeks)” and “Gather, Imagine, Create, Thrive.” Wall graphics were placed around a framed poster of “Field of Dreams” along with a label underneath that read “First Overture Movie Poster.” In community areas, including the company kitchen and cafeteria, appliance graphics were installed with the company name and geometric, colorful shapes and a clever wall graphic.

FASTSIGNS also incorporated color-coded acrylic space dividers. They purchased and installed decorative aluminum pipe with brackets on an acrylic panel with textured paper material, which was selected by Overture. This panel was backed up with white vinyl and then another 1/4" acrylic was sandwiched behind that material to hold everything together.

Colorful canvas wall prints were installed highlighting emblems for account management, global sourcing, graphic design, reporting and analysis and more. For designation of office spaces, cubicle name inserts and custom suite plates on permanent offices were added as room labels with employee names and titles.

The Result

The client was pleased with the result. The new office encompasses their culture and maintains the ambiance from their previous headquarters with a more modern flair. FASTSIGNS helped them enhance their values with increased exposure and playful engagement for current and new team members.
